I know its been quiet in here for the past few days…
Yesterday morning my mom received a call that my Grandfather had a heart attack, and that he was to be operated on immediately. (Triple Bi pass!) So we left work shortly after the call, met up with my sister, and began the eleven hour drive over to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to be with my Grandmother and other family. Fortunately, he made it out of surgery in one piece and is doing very well. He is extremely doped up, which is to be expected, but he is aware of pretty much everything going on around him and the doctors say he should make a full recovery. So please keep him in your thoughts and prayers, (if you’re into that sort of thing) as he makes his way down a very long road to recovery, and health.
Oh, and if there is anything I have learned from all this, its that nurses are effing SAINTS man. The things they have to see and deal with… I can’t even imagine. God bless ‘em all.
